Getting Started
Premium Features and Upgrading to Analyze + Manage
The Analyze + Manage tier unlocks a range of premium features including playbooks, automated remediation, policy cloning, and cross-tenant visibility, all of which can be enabled on a per-tenant basis after upgrading. This article covers what the Manage tier adds, how to upgrade, and how to control which customer tenants have Manage features enabled.
Premium Features and Upgrading to Analyze + Manage
Cloud Capsule offers two subscription tiers: Analyze and Analyze + Manage. This article explains what the Manage tier unlocks, how to upgrade, and how to enable Manage features for specific customer tenants.
What the Manage Tier Adds
The Analyze + Manage subscription unlocks the following features on top of the full Analyze feature set:
- Playbooks — Detailed PDF playbooks covering Device Management, Suspicious Apps, Business Email Compromise, Software Vulnerabilities, and MFA Adoption
- Automated remediation — Apply fixes directly to tenant configurations from within Cloud Capsule
- Policy cloning and deployment — Clone and deploy policies across your managed tenants
- Prospecting links — Generate shareable assessment links for prospects
- Advanced annotations — Add comments and override vendor controls
- Customer access portal — Allow customers to log in and view their own assessment data
- Advanced exclusions — Fine-grained control over excluded accounts and controls
- Cross-tenant Explorer — Aggregate view of security controls, metrics, and playbooks across all tenants
How to Upgrade to Analyze + Manage
- Navigate to Admin in the left sidebar.
- Select the Billing and Subscription tab.
- Select the Analyze + Manage subscription option and complete the upgrade.
Once upgraded, you can enable Manage features on a per-tenant basis (see below).
Enabling Manage Features for Specific Tenants
After upgrading, Manage features are not automatically enabled for all tenants. You can choose which customer tenants have access to Manage features, giving you control over which customers are included in your Manage user count.
- Navigate to Admin > Billing and Subscription.
- Select the Manage Customers tab.
- Toggle on the tenants you want to enable Manage features for.
Enabling Manage for a tenant will unlock the additional features immediately without requiring a reassessment.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to rerun the assessment after enabling Manage for a tenant? No. Enabling Manage for a tenant unlocks the additional features and data immediately. You can rerun the assessment at any time if you want to refresh the data, but it is not required.
Can I enable Manage for some tenants and not others? Yes. You have full control over which tenants have Manage features enabled. This allows you to manage your billable user count and roll out Manage features incrementally across your customer base.
What happens to my data if I downgrade from Manage to Analyze? Your assessment data will remain intact. However, Manage-specific features such as playbooks, automated remediation, and policy deployment will no longer be accessible until the subscription is reinstated.
I upgraded to Manage but cannot see the new features. What should I do? Confirm that the Manage toggle is enabled for the affected tenant under Admin > Billing and Subscription > Manage Customers. If the toggle is on and features are still not visible, contact support.
